I officially have a new favorite restaurant in town. Greko Greek Street Food in East Nashville is hands-down some of tastiest food I’ve had and I’ve already been 3 times in 3 weeks. It wasn’t until I started dating Steve that I discovered my love for Mediterranean/Greek food. His family makes some of the best Greek food I’ve ever tasted, so it’s hard to find places that can compare. When we heard a Greek place was opening up near us, we knew we had to try it. And it delivered. It’s so good!
My favorite thing on Greko’s menu is the beef souvlaki pita with a side of pita and tzatziki. Their tzatziki has the freshest cucumber flavor ever. You seriously have to try it.

After dinner we went downtown to catch week #3 of Live on the Green to see Portugal the Man. I was pumped to see them play live and have been waiting for so long to see them. As much as I love LOTG and attending outdoor music festivals, I hope to someday see them in a more intimate setting where I don’t have to be trampled by thousands of people who could care less about the band playing. That’s the tough thing about free concerts, I suppose. Regardless of the insane crowds, we had a great time and they played an incredible setlist!
