Black and Gold

One of the great things about Nashville is that it’s almost impossible to feel over-dressed or under-dressed for any occasion. Everyone here has such a unique sense of style, so showing a bit of character is not only accepted, but welcomed.
This is a date-night look that I threw together because the temps have been in the low-to-mid 90s lately and I can’t seem to walk up my apartment stairs without breaking a sweat.

This sparkly, gold clutch is still a favorite of mine. It was gifted to me by my best friend for her wedding and I still love finding outfits that I can carry it with.
Tomorrow morning I’m flying to Chicago to celebrate my friend’s bachelorette party. It’ll be a quick 30 hour trip to the city, but I’m looking forward to seeing friends and grabbing some cocktails. It’s not a terrible time to leave Nashville, either, because CMA Fest is happening downtown and it is crowded here.
