Today we wandered down Harding Pike to the Belle Meade Plantation. Although it closes at 5pm and we weren’t able to tour the property, we still drove around the area and took in the beautiful scenery. I must admit, the drive to Belle Meade is terrible around 5pm when I’m driving home from work, but once I’m home for the evening it’s a breath of fresh air to be away from the city madness and surrounded by so much green. There are so many places to explore.

Tonight is the official start of CMA Fest events downtown. Nashville is going to be hoppin’ this week, and I even have a few friends from MI
that will be in town. It should be a pretty exciting time. Hopefully I can calm my nerves and battle the crowds so that I can order a beer or two with some familiar faces. Bring on the busy week!

I really want to check this place out when we come and visit next.
Yes, and drink wine!
Beautiful photos! I'll be all over CMA Fest working this weekend, so text me if you're out there. I'm going to try to go back and forth from Bonnaroo. 🙂
Thank you! I'll definitely let you know if/when I'm around. I'm flying to Chicago early Saturday morning and coming back Sunday afternoon, so I'll be gone for most of the madness.
