Autumn Staples with Fossil

I love staple accessories. I’m not much of a jewelry and handbag buyer, so when I find pieces that I can wear with anything and that are wearable year-round, I’m all in. Especially during the holiday season when there seems to suddenly be more events, dinner parties, and family gatherings. It’s nice to find accessories (especially jewelry) that is both tasteful and timeless.

This Fossil handbag is my new favorite accessory. As an adult, I’ve ditched the giant totes and have been sticking to small to mid-sized cross-bodies that don’t take up too much space or are heavy enough to give me back and shoulder problems. My thoughts on smaller bags: you’ll learn to only carry what is absolutely essential. I don’t need to carry an extra hairbrush, some mouthwash, 9 shades of lipstick, a laptop, and enough snacks to survive an apocalypse.
