When the days aren’t incredibly hot and humid, one of my favorite things to do is stroll around East Nashville neighborhoods, window shop, grab coffee, and enjoy the beautiful weather. The sunny-yet-bearable-and-less-humid days are few and far between lately, so when we get a perfectly balanced weather day, there’s nothing better.
Steve and I try to take full advantage of those days by working in the yard or planting things in our garden. I’m getting really excited to see our hard work produce some vegetables and herbs, as long as the deer and rabbits don’t get to them first. We’ve been seeing a ton of wildlife in our yard the past few weeks, so I think it’s going to be a bit of a challenge keeping our plants alive and well. I guess only time will tell.
Nothing new and too exciting has been happening over here. Just a lot of work. Steve and I have both been putting in crazy amounts of work over the past couple of weeks. At my job, we’re in the middle of a big launch– so I’m putting in those extra hours to help with customer support (on top of developing a brand new product that I think new self-publishers are going to LOVE, which is exciting) and Steve has been waking up super early and getting home after dinner to tech some pretty big shows. All of the working hours help us appreciate the time we finally do get off together, though.
Happy Friday, friends! Hope you all have a great weekend.
