Football season is my favorite sports season for making snacks and appetizers at home. I come from a family of avid sports fans, so it’s always exciting to gather around the television and scream at the top of our lungs while watching our favorite teams. Me? I’m a Lions fan. My husband is a Patriots fan. When things get heated, we get by with a little help from game day snacks.
I’ve partnered up with Lindsay Olives to bring one of my all-time favorite, quick-and-easy game day treats: nachos. You just can’t go wrong with nachos. Whether you’re a vegan, vegetarian, or carnivore, there are numerous ways to mix it up and to make your creation perfect for you and your favorite football fans. Personally, my favorite nachos include homemade salsa, LOTS of cheese, avocado, and sliced black olives.
I typically only use olives in two different ways: on nachos and in my cocktails. Which is why I used Lindsay Olives (green olives) to spice up some martinis to enjoy with my full plate of nachos.
